Gachi By Kimchee Restaurant

Gachi By Kimchee Restaurant

Gachi by Kimchee Restaurant is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of industrial aesthetics with contemporary dining experiences in Korean BBQ cuisine. This sophisticated establishment, spanning 196 square meters, masterfully integrates raw architectural elements with modern furnishings to create a distinctive dining atmosphere reminiscent of a food factory aesthetic. The design philosophy centers on transparency and exposure, featuring deliberately visible mechanical systems, exposed pipes, and concrete materials throughout the space, creating an authentic industrial ambiance that complements the interactive dining concept. The interior architecture incorporates a sophisticated ventilation system, with pipes extending from each table, ingeniously transformed into an architectural feature that enhances the overall industrial aesthetic. The entrance makes a bold statement with striking black doors, while the main dining area achieves a dynamic balance through the juxtaposition of rustic elements with contemporary furniture, including black tables paired with red and white seating. A dedicated VIP room elevates the dining experience with red wooden ceilings and bold black walls, creating an sophisticated enclave for private dining. The design, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, demonstrates exceptional expertise in space utilization, material selection, and atmospheric creation, successfully merging functional requirements with aesthetic excellence.
