Furious 140 Villa is an innovative residential architectural project that exemplifies contemporary luxury living through its thoughtful integration of personal passion and sophisticated design. Located in the Jinwan area of Zhuhai city, Guangdong province, this five-story, 4,219-square-foot private residence was meticulously crafted between October 2018 and May 2019 by designers Robin Wang and Sunny Wang. The villa's distinctive feature lies in its unique spatial organization, incorporating three above-ground floors dedicated to living spaces and two underground levels specifically designed for social gatherings and motorcycle display, catering to the owner's enthusiasm for motorcycles. The interior design demonstrates a refined aesthetic sensibility, characterized by geometric lines and soft tones, complemented by modern art installations that create a sophisticated metropolitan atmosphere. A significant architectural achievement lies in its innovative solution to basement illumination, successfully incorporating natural light into the underground spaces while maintaining functional coherence throughout the structure. The design philosophy draws inspiration from classical literature's portrayal of upper-class lifestyle, particularly referencing the cultural sophistication depicted in Edith Wharton's works. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, showcases exceptional space utilization through its multi-dimensional linkage system, enabling seamless interaction between different floors while maintaining distinct functional zones. The villa's design emerged from extensive research, including interviews with motorcycle enthusiasts, resulting in a basement area that doubles as both a social gathering space and a sophisticated display area for motorcycle collections, challenging conventional approaches to luxury villa design in China.
