From O to X Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of urban aesthetics, street fashion, and modern workplace dynamics, completed in January 2022 in Taipei City, Taiwan. This 602-square-meter space represents a breakthrough in contemporary office design, featuring an industrial-styled environment with exposed ceiling pipes and metallic materials that contribute to its modern, concise aesthetic. The design concept revolves around the symbolic representation of its brand logo—an X over an O—which embodies the principles of combination, breakthrough, and innovation while staying true to originality. The space employs an open-plan layout that ingeniously divides into multiple functional areas, including a display area, photo studio, meeting room, rest area, and flagship exhibition space. Distinguished by its use of neon lighting elements and a minimalist black and white color scheme, the office creates an atmosphere that encourages creativity and pushes conventional boundaries. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional spatial planning through its flexible and convertible elements that facilitate different types of interactions and work scenarios. The design's sophisticated approach to lighting includes strategically placed lighting straps in staff areas, ensuring optimal illumination throughout the space. Notable features include the absence of traditional workplace partitions, which promotes natural ventilation and light distribution, while the careful selection of furniture and metallic materials creates distinct environmental zones that can transition seamlessly between formal, casual, private, and collaborative settings.
