Forest Vision Office
Forest Vision Office is an innovative interior design project that reimagines traditional workplace environments by seamlessly integrating natural elements and sustainable practices. This distinguished office space, designed by Chun-He Lee and Pei-Chin Lee, transforms conventional corporate aesthetics through its unique cave-like architecture and extensive use of recycled materials. The design philosophy centers on creating a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor environments, featuring prominent wooden elements crafted from reclaimed materials, including 30-year-old driftwood and industrial construction surplus. The space incorporates sophisticated design elements such as a two-point perspective square wall in the reception area, constructed from discarded floor materials and dead branches, while innovative features like PVP water pipes shaped as tree trunks serve both aesthetic and functional purposes. The project's environmental consciousness extends to its material treatment methods, utilizing eco-friendly heat treatments for pest elimination rather than harmful chemicals. Notable design features include transparent glass floors in meeting spaces, honeycomb-inspired spatial arrangements, and large windows that blur the boundaries between interior and exterior environments. The design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its exceptional approach to sustainable office design. The project, completed in July 2018 in Yuanli Township, Miaoli County, demonstrates how commercial spaces can be both environmentally responsible and aesthetically sophisticated while maintaining high functionality.
