This distinguished packaging solution, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, features a multi-layered three-dimensional structure measuring 145mm x 145mm x 300mm, incorporating traditional Chinese palace lantern aesthetics with an integrated light module at its base. The design's circular illustration draws from rich mythological elements, including the Jade Hare, Moon Palace, and Apsaras from Dunhuang Murals, creating a profound sense of ceremonial significance. The packaging's ingenious transformation capability allows it to serve a dual purpose - after the mooncakes are removed, users can activate the LED switch located at the bottom and install the transparent PVC case with the outer hollowed-out case, converting it into a decorative lantern. The design's artistic interpretation is deeply rooted in Li Bai's classical poetry and employs sophisticated die-cutting processes to enhance visual layering. The integration of four distinctly posed nymphs against the Moon Palace backdrop creates an atmosphere of celebration and tranquility, while the semi-transparent PVC material creates an illusion of suspended 3D paper-carved elements. This innovative packaging solution, developed in Shenzhen during 2020, represents a harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary design principles, offering both functional packaging and an enduring decorative piece that celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival's rich heritage.
