Fluid Cube And Snake Smart Furniture
Fluid Cube and Snake Smart Furniture is an innovative series of smart outdoor furniture designs that revolutionizes public space interaction through sustainable technology integration and modular functionality. This platinum A' Design Award-winning collection comprises two distinct elements: the Fluid Cube, a fixed unit featuring solar cells embedded within layered glass tops, and the Snake, a versatile modular structure adaptable to various site requirements. The designs seamlessly integrate contemporary technology with traditional materials, incorporating USB charging ports, WiFi hotspots, and integrated lighting systems powered by shock-resistant solar panels. Crafted from durable larch wood beams and planks, these installations demonstrate exceptional durability while maintaining aesthetic appeal, with the wooden components precision-cut using CNC technology and mounted on robust steel frameworks. The Fluid Cube, measuring approximately 27000 x 28510 x 29810 millimeters, can be arranged in multiple configurations, while the City Snake, spanning 4210 x 7650 x 400-1670 millimeters, offers adaptable modularity for diverse spatial requirements. The design philosophy emphasizes the transformation of utilitarian objects into beloved community fixtures, addressing contemporary needs for sustainable power sources and digital connectivity in public spaces. These installations have been successfully implemented across four educational institutions, where they serve as multifunctional community gathering points, exemplifying the intersection of sustainable design, technological innovation, and social functionality in modern urban furniture.
