Flower to Flora Tea is an innovative packaging design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of cultural elements and modern aesthetics in contemporary tea packaging. Created by designers Wen Liu and Fang Li in Shenzhen, China, this sophisticated design draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, incorporating symbolic elements such as the peacock, which holds significant cultural value as a local mascot, alongside representations of leafy tea trees, indigenous flowers, and the portrayal of a rainforest inhabitant. The design's distinctive visual language is characterized by its thoughtful color palette, derived from traditional ethnic costumes of Xishuangbanna, creating a compelling narrative that bridges local traditions with contemporary design sensibilities. The packaging's physical structure, measuring 340mm in length, 120mm in width, and 240mm in height, utilizes black textured paper that references the ancient trees of the region's tropical rainforest, while employing sophisticated printing and bronzing techniques to ensure production quality.
