Flow Armchair is an innovative seating design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of natural elements and functional furniture, created by Belgian designer Mattice Boets. This sculptural piece draws its inspiration from the fluid interaction between water and stone, translating these natural phenomena into a sophisticated furniture design that perfectly contours to the human form. The armchair's distinctive organic shape emerges from the conceptual transformation of a basic rock form, metaphorically eroded and shaped by flowing water, resulting in an ergonomically optimized seating solution. The construction comprises a robust steel inner frame that is precisely pressed and welded, complemented by strategically placed variable-density foam that provides targeted support throughout the seating area. With dimensions of 57 centimeters in width, 62 centimeters in depth, and 70 centimeters in height, featuring a seating height of 46 centimeters at its highest point, the armchair maintains an ideal proportion for comfortable use.
