Flaunt Salon And Spa

Flaunt Salon And Spa

Flaunt Salon and Spa is an innovative interior design project that masterfully integrates contemporary styling aesthetics with traditional Indian architectural elements, realized within a 2500-square-foot wellness space. Conceived and executed by architect Pallavi Budigari, this award-winning design seamlessly blends two distinct experiential zones: a modern styling lounge and a village-themed spa, creating a unique spatial narrative through thoughtful material selection and architectural detailing. The design's distinctive approach employs a carefully orchestrated interplay of brick, white walls, and concrete panels, where traditional brick construction techniques are reimagined to create an aged aesthetic using a specific 3:3:4 ratio of varying brick qualities. The space features innovative elements such as a reverse-vaulted canvas ceiling that provides soft, ambient illumination, and incorporates traditional architectural elements like cudappa stone lofts and exposed brick walls with finger pointing. The layout efficiently divides into two functional wings post-reception, with the right section housing spa facilities and the left and central areas accommodating the styling lounge and hair spa. Notable design features include a traditional brick arch construction that serves as a visual anchor, complemented by contemporary white elements and artistic installations including quotes and posters that enhance the spatial experience. This harmonious fusion of old and new design elements earned the project an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2016, recognizing its excellence in spatial innovation and cultural sensitivity.
