Flashing In One Moment Reception Center

Flashing in one moment Reception Center is an innovative architectural interior design project that exemplifies contemporary spatial design principles through its sophisticated integration of geometric forms and thoughtful space utilization. Located in Taiwan, this 630-square-meter reception center masterfully employs a distinctive rhombus configuration superimposed on a rectangular plane, creating a dynamic interplay of layers and spatial dialogue. The design, conceived by Wei-Jheng Syu and Zhen-Long Liao, features a remarkable entrance sequence where a sector counter welcomes visitors, complemented by artistically rendered tree images crafted through complex board cuts. The space's sophisticated design language incorporates strategic mirror placements that create compelling visual effects, including the simultaneous perception of circles within rectangles and rectangles within circles. The center's architectural vocabulary is further enhanced through the implementation of arches that break traditional vertical-horizontal linearity, while the thoughtful integration of recessed lighting and crystal chandeliers effectively delineates meeting spaces from gallery areas. The material palette, comprising culture stone, wood, mirror, plastic sheet, granite, and melamine panels, contributes to the space's refined aesthetic while supporting its functional requirements. The design's excellence was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to creating a professional environment that facilitates successful business interactions through its carefully orchestrated blend of open and private spaces. The project's sophisticated facade design, characterized by an intriguing interplay between virtual and real elements, establishes a strong visual identity while maintaining functional efficiency.
