Flaming Bloom Art Gazebo is an innovative architectural art installation and functional public space structure designed by Wendi Wu and team, situated within a sunken garden park in Guangzhou, China. This remarkable artistic shelter, standing at 5 meters in height, serves as both a sculptural centerpiece and a practical gazebo, offering pedestrians protection from intense sunlight while creating an immersive artistic experience. Drawing inspiration from Guangzhou's identity as the City of Flowers in the Lingnan region, the structure employs a sophisticated design language that manifests as a large-scale blooming flower, incorporating specially developed twisted unit elements with dual-finish surfaces - mirror-polished stainless steel on one side and red paint on the other.
