Fitness Club Club

Fitness Club Club is an innovative interior design project that reimagines the traditional fitness center concept through sophisticated spatial design and architectural elements. Located in Nanning, China, this 2,200-square-meter facility represents a significant advancement in contemporary fitness space design, particularly notable for its creative solution to the challenges posed by limited natural light and enclosed venues. The design, conceived by Fuxi Lu and team in 2018, breaks away from conventional gymnasium aesthetics by incorporating dynamic fan-shaped elements and strategic mirror placements to create perceptible spatial tension and visual depth. The interior scheme employs a refined color palette of coffee, black, and gray tones, complemented by premium materials including wood grain ground glue, sports ground glue, cement board, iron board, floor tiles, and mercury mirrors. A distinguishing feature of the design is its reception area, which integrates a visible dynamic bicycle room, creating an immediate connection to the energy of fitness activities. The project's innovative approach to space optimization and atmospheric design earned it the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its contribution to advancing the standards of fitness facility design. The design successfully transforms the limitations of the original structure into advantages through careful consideration of material properties, spatial flow, and functional requirements, while maintaining a club-like atmosphere that appeals to modern fitness enthusiasts. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, from the strategic placement of exercise areas to the thoughtful integration of industrial-style elements that create a contemporary and sophisticated environment.
