Firmenich Happiness And Wellbeing

Firmenich Happiness And Wellbeing

Firmenich Happiness and Wellbeing is an innovative interior design project that revolutionizes corporate workspace design through its thoughtful integration of sensory experiences, wellbeing-focused elements, and strategic spatial planning. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2016 in Mexico City, encompasses 3,918 square meters of transformative space that breaks traditional office paradigms by implementing open areas that foster creativity and social learning. The design philosophy centers on creating an immersive sensory experience that begins at the reception area, featuring green walls, flowers, and interactive screens that communicate brand essence through multiple senses. The project's sophisticated approach to workspace design incorporates vibrant colors in communal areas, neutral tones in workstations, and wooden lattice elements that create natural flow between meeting rooms and support areas. Notable technical innovations include specialized laboratory spaces with customized furniture and air extraction systems, strategically positioned along the facades with protective solid rock walls and glass combinations for optimal temperature and lighting control. The design successfully balances functionality with aesthetic appeal through its careful consideration of materials, including continuous floor finishes, curved architectural elements, and transparent glass sections that showcase the production processes. This award-winning design exemplifies how thoughtful interior architecture can serve as a competitive tool while promoting employee wellbeing, demonstrating excellence in corporate space planning that prioritizes both human experience and operational efficiency.
