Filipino Landscape Design

Filipino Landscape Design is an art form that has been shaped and evolved by the cultural influences of the Philippines. This style of landscape design has been influenced by the country’s history, culture, and climate, resulting in a unique aesthetic that is both modern and rooted in tradition. The major movements within Filipino Landscape Design include the Spanish Colonial, the American Colonial, and the modern Tropical. These styles have been further developed by the country’s creative people, who have used their knowledge and experience to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces. Spanish Colonial Landscape Design, which is rooted in the country’s Spanish colonial past, is characterized by its use of traditional materials, such as wood, stone, and brick, as well as its use of lush vegetation. American Colonial Landscape Design, which is influenced by the country’s American colonial past, is characterized by its use of modern materials and its focus on creating functional outdoor spaces. Modern Tropical Landscape Design, which is rooted in the country’s tropical climate, is characterized by its use of bold colors, its use of unique plants and trees, and its focus on creating outdoor spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. These three styles of Filipino Landscape Design have been developed by the country’s creative people, who have used their knowledge and experience to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
