Feast In Green Residential House
Feast in Green Residential House is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of space optimization and environmental consciousness in contemporary urban living. Located on a hillside surrounded by mountains, this 85-square-meter dwelling demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its open configuration and minimalist approach to privacy barriers. The design, created by Chu-Hsin Tsai, earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcasing its excellence in sustainable architectural solutions. The project's distinctive features include a sophisticated integration of dark grey art stones with white seams for the television wall, which extends to the bedroom area, creating visual continuity throughout the space. The design emphasizes natural light and ventilation through strategically placed large windows that frame the surrounding landscape, effectively reducing dependency on artificial climate control systems. A notable element is the innovative entrance solution, where a continuous wooden cabinet wall replaces the traditional porch, incorporating multifunctional storage solutions and a wall bed. The bathroom design showcases particular ingenuity with its external wash basin and artistic mirror installation supported by iron elements, while the living spaces demonstrate remarkable flexibility in their overlapping functionalities, allowing the study room, dining area, and bedroom to flow seamlessly into one another. The project's success lies in its ability to maximize spatial efficiency while maintaining aesthetic sophistication through the thoughtful use of materials including wood, culture stone, and iron elements, all while prioritizing environmental sustainability and occupant comfort.
