Fck 2020 Calendar

Fck 2020 Calendar

Fck 2020 Calendar is an innovative graphic design project that emerged as a creative response to the challenging year of 2020, manifesting as a limited edition table calendar that combines functional design with artistic expression and social commentary. This distinctive calendar, which won the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, features a sophisticated leporello format that can be displayed in multiple configurations, either lying flat like a book or standing in various three-dimensional arrangements including circular formations. The design employs a modernist graphic approach with polychromatic elements and minimal illustrations, printed on premium Divina white paper by Gruppo Cordenons (240 gms) using HP Indigo digital printing technology. Measuring 169x240mm when folded and expanding to 1848x240mm when fully extended, the calendar represents twelve months of aspirational content, each featuring carefully crafted visual elements that transform the collective frustration of 2020 into optimistic expressions for the future. The project demonstrates exceptional technical innovation in its construction, utilizing a three-part assembly process that considers fiber direction and minimal paper waste, while maintaining high-quality color reproduction and durability. Created in Milan, Italy, during the latter part of 2020, this self-promotional piece serves as both a functional calendar and a design object that encapsulates the zeitgeist of a pivotal moment in global history, offering a sophisticated blend of humor, hope, and artistic excellence that resonates with a diverse audience while maintaining professional design standards.
