Extreme Of Emptiness 3D Public Art
Extreme of Emptiness 3D Public Art is a groundbreaking digital public art installation that seamlessly merges virtual nature with urban spaces, creating an immersive experience that explores the intricate relationship between humans and the natural world. Created by Chinese visual artist Haiyu Zheng, this innovative piece utilizes advanced naked-eye 3D technology and is displayed on a monumental 888-square-meter LED billboard with 8K resolution. The artwork centers on the mesmerizing journey of a sea slug, affectionately known as a sea rabbit, through a vibrant, dreamlike ecosystem that celebrates the beauty of spring and summer. Through sophisticated computer graphics techniques, including Cinema 4D, Octane Render, and Houdini FX effects, the installation achieves a remarkable real sense of unreality that captivates viewers without requiring specialized viewing equipment. The piece distinguishes itself through its bold use of color, dynamic forms, and poetic interpretation of natural phenomena, from the warmth of sunlight to the gentle movement of breezes. This work, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Computer Graphics, 3D Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering Design category, serves as a powerful commentary on environmental awareness and the preservation of natural wonders. The installation's strategic placement in a bustling shopping district creates an unexpected moment of tranquility and reflection, encouraging viewers to contemplate the delicate balance between urban development and natural ecosystems.
