Exhibition Exhibition Place is an innovative interior design project that reimagines an 800-square-meter industrial space into a sophisticated tea culture exhibition hall, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design, conceived by Chenghai YI and team, masterfully transforms the former industrial plant into an elegant showcase of Oriental tea culture, featuring log tea tables and chairs as central elements. The space employs a strategic 45-degree tilted island design to maximize visual impact and display area, while incorporating local black titanium, stone, and wooden elements to enhance spatial sophistication. The exhibition hall's design philosophy extends beyond mere functionality, elevating everyday tea culture into an aesthetic experience through four primary themes: design aesthetics, emotional individuality, health, and cultural classicism. The space utilizes cement flaps extending outward to create additional display surfaces, while the carefully planned local lighting system enhances spatial depth perception. Completed in October 2018, this design solution successfully addresses the challenge of cost-effective space transformation while maintaining atmospheric excellence. The project exemplifies contemporary Chinese design principles, seamlessly blending traditional cultural elements with modern spatial concepts to create an environment that caters to diverse tea enthusiasts' needs. The design's success was recognized by the A' Design Award, highlighting its innovative approach to exhibition space design and its contribution to advancing interior design standards.
