Evironmentally Conscious HOme 1 Environmentally Conscious Interior
Evironmentally Conscious hOme 1 Environmentally Conscious Interior is an innovative residential design project that exemplifies sustainable luxury living through its comprehensive integration of environmentally conscious elements and practices. This groundbreaking interior design, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates how contemporary luxury can coexist with environmental responsibility. The project features a remarkable composition where 70% of its design elements are derived from recycled and upcycled materials, challenging traditional notions of luxury interior design. The 220-square-meter space, comprising a 110-square-meter living area and an equivalent rooftop space, incorporates numerous sustainable features including a self-sufficient organic vegetable garden, solar-powered lighting systems, and materials sourced from certified eco-friendly suppliers. The interior's distinctive floating furniture design creates an illusion of spaciousness while maximizing spatial efficiency. Notable sustainable elements include reclaimed OSB particle panels, recycled cardboard pendant lamps, low-voltage LED lighting, artificial natural materials, a low water usage automated bathroom system, and BPA-free polystyrene storage solutions. The rooftop design integrates advanced horizontal and vertical farming techniques, contributing to approximately 70% self-sufficiency in vegetable production. This innovative approach to luxury residential design demonstrates how contemporary aesthetics can be achieved while significantly reducing environmental impact through the strategic use of imitation materials, recycled components, and sustainable technologies.
