Every Day of The Week Illustrations-Personal Project is an innovative series of seven distinct illustrations that masterfully personifies each day of the week through feminine figures, created by Belgian artist Stef Rymenants. This sophisticated artistic endeavor, which garnered the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, seamlessly combines traditional and digital techniques to create a compelling visual narrative. The project's distinctive methodology begins with meticulous pencil drawings that are subsequently digitized and enhanced with color, resulting in high-resolution digital artworks sized at 50 x 35 mm. Drawing inspiration from diverse artistic movements including cubism from the interwar period, surrealism, and medieval stained glass windows, the illustrations demonstrate a remarkable synthesis of stylization and classical figure drawing with surrealist elements.
