Everbon Jian Shan Mansion Shared Lobby is an award-winning architectural interior space design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of natural inspiration and contemporary design principles. Located at Mount Emei in Sichuan, China, this 670-square-meter multifunctional space completed in 2020 draws its conceptual foundation from the surrounding mountainous terrain and serene Buddhist cultural elements. The design demonstrates sophisticated spatial organization through its integration of multiple functional zones, including a Reception Area, Lobby Bar, Leisure Area, and Hot Spring Sales Area, all unified by a cohesive aesthetic language that emphasizes natural materials and ethereal atmospheres. The space is distinguished by its rich layering and stereostructural elements, featuring raw wood tones and marble finishes that create a quiet, elegant ambiance. Notable design elements include Masayuki Tsubota-inspired lighting installations that simulate water droplets, creating dynamic visual effects throughout the space. The interior's artistic conception is further enhanced through carefully curated decorative elements, including handcrafted pottery, floral arrangements, and wooden furnishings that contribute to its contemplative atmosphere. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully implements the concept of Gray Space as a transitional element connecting indoor and outdoor environments, while incorporating artistic interpretations of landscape paintings and bamboo-weaving ornaments that pay homage to the natural surroundings.
