Eva Fruit Tree

Eva Fruit Tree

Eva Fruit Tree is an innovative and aesthetically sophisticated fruit bowl design that reimagines the traditional concept of fruit storage through a minimalist sculptural approach. Created by Australian designer Simon Colabufalo, this distinctive piece pays homage to the natural origin of fruits through its tree-like form while maintaining contemporary design sensibilities. Crafted from polished aluminum, the design features special V-shaped grooves integrated into its branch-like extensions, enabling users to hang stemmed fruits in a manner that echoes their natural growth pattern. Standing at 440mm in height with a 275mm x 275mm base dimension, the Eva Fruit Tree combines functional storage with artistic expression, creating a striking centerpiece for modern interiors. The design's elegant interpretation of organic forms demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, successfully addressing the creative challenge of conveying an arboreal structure while adhering to minimalist design principles. This innovative approach to kitchenware design earned the piece a Platinum A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, recognizing its outstanding contribution to contemporary design. The Eva Fruit Tree represents a sophisticated fusion of form and function, where the practical purpose of fruit storage is elevated through thoughtful design that celebrates the natural origins of its contents, making it both a functional kitchen accessory and a sculptural art piece suitable for modern living spaces.
