Estathe Glass Bottle Food Packaging

Estathe Glass Bottle Food Packaging

Estathe Glass Bottle Food Packaging is an innovative beverage packaging design that reimagines the traditional tea container format through a sophisticated glass bottle solution, specifically crafted for out-of-home consumption. This groundbreaking design, created by MrSmith Studio in Italy, masterfully reinterprets the iconic brick-shaped packaging with a modern twist, featuring a distinctive twisted form that maintains visual appeal while avoiding manufacturing undercuts. The design, which garnered recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, exemplifies the intersection of functionality and aesthetic excellence through its carefully considered dimensions of 57mm x 57mm x 185mm and weight of 192 grams. The packaging's innovative features include a pioneering ring-pull cap system, marking a first in its category, which enhances the consumer experience from opening to consumption. The transparent glass construction not only elevates the premium positioning of the product but also serves practical purposes by preserving the tea's authentic flavor profile and allowing visual appreciation of the contents. Developed through extensive consumer research and technical innovation, this packaging solution represents a significant advancement in beverage container design, requiring complex mold engineering and precise implementation of I.S. technology for production. The project, which spanned from May 2017 to January 2019, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in preserving brand heritage while introducing contemporary design elements that enhance both functionality and user experience.
