Espaco Com Viver Residencial House

Espaco Com Viver Residencial House is an innovative residential architectural project that masterfully blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category. This sophisticated dwelling draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Minas Gerais, Brazil, particularly the riverside communities along the São Francisco River, translating vernacular architecture into modern luxury. The structure features a distinctive facade with pure lines and an orthogonal pergola, complemented by an asymmetrical corten steel bench that serves as both a sculptural element and a functional gathering space. The interior space is characterized by its fluid, open-plan design where living, kitchen, and dining areas seamlessly integrate, with walls that intentionally do not touch the ceiling, creating an innovative spatial flow. The project stands out for its exceptional commitment to sustainability, incorporating construction waste and recycled materials, including repurposed drywall and an aluminum structural framework. The walls feature a unique manual earth coating in various tones, applied by women specialists in bio-construction, creating a harmonious connection with the natural environment. Advanced automation and sound systems enhance the user experience, while the thoughtful integration of natural materials, Brazilian woods, and local handicrafts reinforces the project's cultural authenticity. The design's environmental consciousness extends to its exterior, where mirrored elements reflect the surrounding landscape, and minimalist landscaping complements the overall architectural composition, demonstrating how contemporary residential architecture can successfully bridge tradition and innovation while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and cultural preservation.
