Epic Interior Design Showroom And Office
Epic Interior Design Showroom and Office is an exemplary architectural interior design project completed in 2022, showcasing a sophisticated integration of form and function within a 2000-square-foot space in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its seamless division into waiting, office, and showcase areas. The project's distinctive features include innovative use of glass elements to enhance transparency, strategic implementation of strip panels to extend ceiling height, and thoughtfully designed wooden ceiling elements that create visual continuity across different zones. The interior's aesthetic is characterized by a harmonious blend of materials, incorporating quality marble-textured ceramic tiles, super light national walnut wall panels with powder coating, and artistic paint finishes. The design philosophy emphasizes the continuous flow of space, with careful attention to lighting design that combines both reflective and direct illumination to create areas of softness and functionality. The color palette juxtaposes dark tones for elegance and mystery with white elements for spatial definition, while metallic ornamental details integrate void and solid spaces. This project, designed by Steven Sze, represents a significant achievement in contemporary interior design, particularly notable for its innovative approach to corporate space planning and its successful balance of aesthetic appeal with practical functionality.
