This thoughtfully engineered system comprises two distinct units featuring robust construction with galvanized steel bodies protected by rust-proof coating, demonstrating a commitment to longevity and durability in outdoor environments. The design seamlessly integrates functional excellence with aesthetic appeal, incorporating ergonomic considerations that make it accessible to all users. The bicycle inflator unit, measuring 200mm in width, 1145mm in height, and 500mm in depth, includes specialized mounting points that secure bikes during inflation, while the automobile unit, sized at 250mm width, 1625mm height, and 500mm depth, features a retractable hose system and LED pressure display for precise inflation control. The design's sophisticated engineering approach emphasizes user-centric functionality while maintaining industrial durability, exemplified through its powder-coated finish and weather-resistant construction. This innovative solution, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Product Engineering and Technical Design category, represents a significant advancement in public service infrastructure, combining practical utility with sophisticated industrial design principles. The project, developed over eight months, demonstrates excellence in addressing both technical requirements and user experience considerations, incorporating automotive design concepts such as aerodynamics and ergonomics into its final form.
