Enlivening Residential Apartment

Enlivening Residential Apartment

Enlivening Residential Apartment is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies contemporary residential aesthetics through its sophisticated integration of materials, forms, and spatial planning. Located in Macau and completed in 2019, this 323-square-meter apartment showcases a harmonious blend of light stone tiles, dark wallpapers, and champagne-colored metal accents that create a majestic yet welcoming atmosphere. The design, conceived by Clement Tung Jeun Cheng, features distinctive elements such as a petal-shaped ceiling lamp at the entrance and innovative curved floors that effectively distinguish between upper and lower spaces. The master bedroom incorporates radial-patterned wood flooring that draws attention to the bed, while dark wood ornaments and carefully selected wall textiles contribute to a composed and intimate ambiance. Notable design features include ribbon-like structures that guide visual flow, grained glass elements that create intriguing contrasts between solid and void spaces, and comprehensive linear elements that present neat lines frontally while revealing graceful curves from side angles. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its transitional areas connecting living and dining spaces, enhanced by simple yet magnificent linear decorations that establish a unique decorative language throughout the residence. The design's success lies in its ability to create different visual experiences from various vantage points, offering residents a sophisticated living environment that balances contemporary fashion with functional comfort.
