Enigma Multihousing

Enigma Multihousing is an innovative residential architecture project located in Puebla, Mexico, that exemplifies contemporary urban living solutions for young professionals. The sculptural tower, designed by Fernando Valdez Lopez in collaboration with Montserrat Azamar and Victor Manuel Ayala, stands as a testament to modern architectural principles, rising 27 meters with base dimensions of 17.30 by 15.40 meters. The design philosophy centers on the concept of unification through diversity, expressed through four distinct volumes of varying heights and material treatments on its facade. The structure accommodates ten meticulously designed apartments ranging from 112 to 294 square meters, featuring a sophisticated combination of concrete, glass, and calacatta stone finishes that create an atmosphere of luxury and functionality. The building's thoughtful layout includes duplex apartments with double-height spaces, an underground garage with mechanical facilities and cellar storage, ground-level parking, and a welcoming lobby. A distinctive feature is the seventh-floor roof garden and common area, offering panoramic views of the surrounding urban landscape. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category in 2017, demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial organization and material selection, incorporating intense colors, textures, and patterns to create environments that balance comfort with productivity. The design successfully addresses the contemporary needs of urban professionals while maintaining aesthetic excellence through its sculptural approach to residential architecture.
