Elements Universal Interior System
Elements Universal Interior System is an innovative and versatile interior storage solution designed by Olga Shchukina and Liubov Borisovskaya, characterized by its adaptable modular structure and minimalist aesthetic approach. This comprehensive storage system, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, represents a significant advancement in contemporary interior organization through its thoughtful integration of form and function. The system's distinguishing feature lies in its open showcase concept, which eliminates traditional doors to create an unobstructed, boutique-like display environment while maintaining optimal accessibility and visual flow. Crafted with sustainable principles, the system employs wood as its primary material, finished with ecological oil treatments to ensure environmental responsibility and user health safety. The design incorporates precise 45-degree angle connections between components, contributing to its elegant geometric appearance and structural integrity. Notable technical considerations include ergonomically optimized element heights, with lower components positioned 100mm from the floor for cleaning convenience, dual-height clothing rods for varied garment lengths, and a maximum hanger height of 2240mm to ensure accessibility for average-height users. The system's modular nature allows for seamless integration into various spatial contexts, from bedrooms and living rooms to entrance halls and kitchens, while its thoughtful dimensions (ranging from 40x350x2350mm to 880x600x2410mm) facilitate practical installation and future modifications without requiring complete system disassembly. This versatile design solution, developed in Saint Petersburg beginning in January 2019, exemplifies a harmonious balance between functional efficiency and aesthetic refinement, establishing new standards in contemporary interior organization systems.
