Elektro Lumen Hasta Outdoor LED Light

Elektro Lumen Hasta Outdoor LED Light

Elektro Lumen Hasta Outdoor LED light is an innovative urban lighting solution designed by David Polasek, characterized by its aerodynamic form inspired by a bird perched on a branch. This sophisticated outdoor LED luminaire, developed between 2016 and 2017, represents a significant advancement in public space illumination through its minimalist yet highly functional design approach. The fixture's distinctive aluminum body shell has been engineered to achieve the slimmest possible aerodynamic profile while maintaining adequate internal space for electrical components and operational systems. Standing at 278mm in height, with a length of 600mm and width of 218mm, the design incorporates a unique fixing mechanism that enables both vertical and horizontal mounting configurations on lampposts, featuring a recumbency correction range of -15 to +15 degrees. This versatile lighting solution is specifically engineered for various urban environments, including pavement lanes, street corridors, city squares, park zones, and residential areas. The design's emphasis on aerodynamic principles helps optimize its performance in windy conditions, while its waterproof construction and efficient thermal management system ensure optimal LED platform cooling and energy conservation. The prototype, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to both aesthetic and functional considerations, setting new standards for urban lighting design through its integration of advanced technology with sophisticated form. The design's success lies in its ability to balance minimal dimensioning with practical requirements, resulting in a lighting solution that not only illuminates public spaces effectively but also contributes to the visual harmony of urban landscapes.
