Elegant View In The Silence Interior Design

Elegant View in the Silence Interior Design is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully embodies Oriental design principles through its sophisticated integration of space, material, and atmosphere. Located in an emerging city center of Hsinchu City, Taiwan, this 315-square-meter residence harmoniously balances public and private spaces through thoughtful architectural elements and material selections. The design, created by Sheng-Hsin Hsu, features a distinctive entrance porch adorned with four delicate carved wood panels and hexagonal black rock flooring, establishing a solemn yet welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for the entire space. The main public area ingeniously combines the living room, kitchen, and study room, utilizing dark brown tones and grey-brown woodwork complemented by serpeggiante stone to define distinct spatial boundaries. A notable feature is the study room's strategic placement between the living room and kitchen, incorporating double glass doors that create visual depth and connectivity. The design employs sophisticated U-shaped wall cabinets and a grating ceiling system that effectively distributes light while delineating different functional zones. The private quarters, comprising the main bedroom, secondary bedroom, and bathroom, maintain the warm aesthetic through consistent use of brown wooden walls, geometric ceiling details, and coordinated dark wooden furniture. The project, which was completed in January 2016, received recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its exceptional achievement in spatial design, material selection, and atmospheric creation. The design's success lies in its ability to merge functional requirements with aesthetic excellence, creating a harmonious living environment that reflects both contemporary needs and traditional Oriental design sensibilities.
