Elegant Living Residential

Elegant Living Residential

Elegant Living Residential is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully transforms a 106-square-meter living space in Taipei, Taiwan, showcasing a sophisticated approach to modern urban living. The design, conceived by Wei Chen Sun, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning that harmoniously integrates the spectacular views of Taipei 101 while addressing practical challenges such as restrictive ceiling heights and environmental concerns. The project, completed in September 2022, employs a thoughtful combination of natural solid wood materials, low formaldehyde system panels, and environmentally friendly emulsion paints to create a healthy living environment. The renovation process involved comprehensive foundation reinforcement and the installation of advanced climate control systems, including ceiling-type concealed air conditioning units and dehumidification equipment. The original three-bedroom layout was ingeniously reconfigured into a more functional two-bedroom arrangement, featuring a living room, dining room, dressing room, and two bathrooms, with particular attention paid to storage solutions for the residents' lifestyle needs. The design's sophisticated material palette and refined color scheme create a serene atmosphere that provides a welcome respite from urban life, while the innovative use of LED lighting throughout the space demonstrates a commitment to energy efficiency and environmental consciousness. The project's excellence in interior space design was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding achievement in combining aesthetic excellence with practical functionality and sustainable design principles.
