Elegant Legend Hotel

Elegant Legend Hotel

Elegant Legend Hotel is a sophisticated architectural and interior design project completed in 2018, representing a harmonious blend of historical heritage and contemporary luxury in Zhongshan, China. The 35,327-square-meter development showcases an innovative design approach that pays homage to the region's ancient identity as Xiangshan while incorporating modern French aesthetic elements. The hotel's distinctive design draws inspiration from the local mountain landscapes, featuring a dramatic full-height lobby adorned with dark timber screens and innovative acrylic mountain installations that create mystical hill views through water vapor effects. The interior spaces are meticulously crafted with unique elements such as spiral-shaped pearly nautilus formations composed of glass steel chrysanthemum petals, arranged in a deliberate yet organic pattern. The comprehensive facility encompasses various functional spaces including a lobby, lounge, café, all-day dining venue, Chinese restaurant, executive bar, swimming pool, gym, and guest rooms. The design successfully creates a microcosm of Zhongshan's topography by incorporating elements that represent the region's plains, hills, and water systems. This exceptional architectural achievement, designed under the creative direction of Honglei Liu with designers Yuxin Yang and Zhenyun Luo, earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to hospitality design. The project stands as a testament to innovative spatial design that bridges cultural heritage with contemporary luxury, creating an immersive experience that celebrates both local history and modern sophistication.
