Elegant Charm Residential House

Elegant Charm Residential House

Elegant Charm Residential House is an award-winning residential interior design project completed in January 2021 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, exemplifying contemporary living spaces through its sophisticated integration of modern aesthetics and functional design principles. The 120-square-meter residence encompasses three bedrooms, one living room, one dining room, two bathrooms, one kitchen, and a study room, showcasing a harmonious blend of natural elements and modern architectural features. The design's distinctive characteristics include clean, straight lines that define the spaces in a refined manner, while natural materials such as marble and wood create an inviting atmosphere throughout the interior. The semi-open layout ingeniously connects the living room, dining room, and study room, fostering family interaction while maintaining distinct functional zones. Notable design elements include the elegant beige marble flooring arranged in a symmetrical pattern, complemented by a dark brown TV cabinet that extends horizontally to create a cohesive storage solution. The innovative use of transparent glass and mirrors effectively amplifies the spatial perception, while the strategic implementation of floor-to-ceiling windows maximizes natural light penetration. The project, designed by Chang Yu Chiu, demonstrates exceptional attention to material selection, incorporating marble, iron parts, metal board, gray glass, black mirror, laminate flooring, system cabinets, and formaldehyde-removing bamboo charcoal latex paint. The sophisticated design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material integration, and innovative approach to modern residential design.
