Eclipse Set Of Nesting Noodle Bowls Noodle Bowl Set

Eclipse Set of Nesting Noodle Bowls Noodle Bowl Set is an innovative tableware design that revolutionizes the traditional noodle bowl concept through its sophisticated double-walled construction and thoughtful ergonomic considerations. Created by designers Lucie Piedra and Meg Oliver, this exceptional set comprises three precisely engineered porcelain bowls that nest elegantly within one another, featuring diameters of 235mm, 193mm, and 165mm respectively. The design's distinguishing characteristic lies in its double-walled structure, which provides superior thermal insulation, enabling users to comfortably handle vessels containing hot broths without risk of burns. Each bowl incorporates an ingeniously offset rim with a refined sipping edge, facilitating the complete enjoyment of broths while maintaining optimal temperature. The set's aesthetic appeal is enhanced by its clean, modern lines and carefully considered proportions, drawing inspiration from geometric forms and celestial phenomena, particularly evident in the visual interplay created when the bowls are nested, reminiscent of the light patterns observed during a total eclipse. Manufactured through a meticulous slip-casting process, these bowls represent a harmonious fusion of form and function, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, acknowledging their contribution to elevating the dining experience through innovative design solutions.
