Ebony Symphony Condominium

Ebony Symphony Condominium

Ebony Symphony Condominium is a sophisticated residential interior design project that exemplifies contemporary luxury living through its thoughtful transformation of an 1,850-square-foot high-rise apartment space in Georgetown, Penang. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully integrates dark hues and natural materials to create a resort-like ambiance that harmoniously balances sophistication with comfort. Located on the highest floor of the building with panoramic beach views, the condominium's interior architecture demonstrates exceptional space planning, incorporating a living room, dining area, dry and wet kitchens, master bedroom, study room, guest room accommodating six people, and helper quarters for two staff members. The project, completed in 2021, showcases innovative design solutions through its careful consideration of natural lighting dynamics, premium material selection focusing on durability and maintenance, and the strategic implementation of dark color palettes to create an elegant, masculine aesthetic. The interior's distinctive character emerges from its sophisticated use of solid wood and natural stone elements, complemented by subtle detailing that enhances the space's resort-inspired atmosphere. Despite facing significant challenges during the pandemic, including strict construction protocols and complex installation requirements for oversized granite slabs, the design successfully achieves its objective of creating a luxurious retreat that transcends traditional urban living spaces. The project's comprehensive renovation approach, which involved complete dismantling of existing furnishings, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in creating a cohesive design that seamlessly integrates sophisticated dark hues with comfortable displays of subtle luxury, while the careful integration of natural light complements the interior's dramatic tones.
