East Dawning Sales Center

East Dawning Sales Center

East Dawning Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contemporary Chinese aesthetics with sustainable design principles. Located in Chengdu, China, this 1000-square-meter facility represents a significant advancement in retail space design, incorporating green building practices and interactive elements that engage visitors. The design philosophy draws inspiration from traditional Oriental wooden architecture, reimagining these time-honored elements through a modern lens. The space features distinctive design elements including streamlined floating walls, an array of interactive white acrylic bars that allow visitors to create dynamic patterns, and deep bronze geometric truss structures that add architectural complexity. The interior demonstrates exceptional material selection, combining wood, stone, and specialized glass to create an atmosphere that is both elegant and environmentally conscious. The project's ecological approach emphasizes low energy consumption and minimal use of non-renewable resources, adhering to European Union environmental standards through the implementation of innovative membrane technologies. The design, which earned the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2018, is particularly notable for its sophisticated interpretation of space, featuring staggered braided stairs and abstract latitude and longitude elements that create visual depth. The center's clean, serene atmosphere is balanced with vibrant interactive features, making it a pioneering example of contemporary retail space design that successfully bridges functional requirements with artistic expression.
