Ease In The Woods Residential

Ease In The Woods Residential

Ease in the Woods Residential is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully reimagines contemporary living spaces through its innovative approach to spatial arrangement and aesthetic composition. Located on the 36th floor of a prestigious development in Taiwan's Linkou District, this 125-ping (approximately 413 square meters) model residence showcases a harmonious blend of Italian Minotti-inspired design elements and functional sophistication. The project, completed in October 2020, features a thoughtfully curated layout comprising three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and closets, complemented by specialized areas including a light meal space, mahjong room, reading area, and intimate banquet room. Distinguished by its innovative use of semi-screens rather than traditional partitions, the design maximizes the panoramic city views while maintaining spatial flexibility. The interior employs premium materials such as stone, Chang Hong glass, and steel-brushed veneers, creating a refined aesthetic through natural textures and subdued colors. A significant design element includes the strategically positioned L-shaped sofa facing French windows and the distinctive round-shaped hollow in the elevator wall, enhancing the visual connection with the exterior environment. The project, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2022, exemplifies exceptional space optimization and demonstrates remarkable attention to detail in its execution, particularly in its lighting design and material selection. The design philosophy prioritizes creating a serene retreat for retirement living while maintaining high functionality, evident in features such as the well-appointed kitchen island and thoughtfully integrated television walls.
