Eagle Electric Guitar
Eagle Electric guitar is an innovative musical instrument that represents a significant departure from traditional electric guitar design, featuring a lightweight, futuristic, and sculptural aesthetic inspired by Streamline and Organic design philosophies. Created by Spanish designer David Flores Loredo, this groundbreaking instrument weighs merely 2.7 kilograms and combines sophisticated engineering with artistic vision. The guitar's body, crafted from carefully selected alder wood with a gloss polyurethane finish, showcases interweaved volumes and elegant lines that create a sense of flow and speed while maintaining optimal ergonomics. The maple neck, finished in bright gloss urethane, complements the 25.5-inch scale length, providing comfortable playability. The instrument's electronic configuration includes three active noiseless single-coil EMG SA pickups with Alnico bar magnets, controlled through a 5-way switch and featuring volume and dual tone controls. The hardware specification includes a Schaller Roller Chromed bridge and Kluson 6L Chromed tuning machines, ensuring precise tuning stability and enhanced sustain. This innovative design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Musical Instruments Design category, represents a significant advancement in electric guitar evolution, challenging the relatively unchanged design conventions that have dominated since the 1960s. The development process, spanning from January 2016 to February 2017, involved extensive research in guitar engineering techniques and drew inspiration from organic porcelain lamp patterns and Streamline artworks, resulting in a harmonious blend of form and function that sets new standards for contemporary musical instrument design.
