Dynamic Envelope

Dynamic Envelope is a building skin that can move or change shape to help control temperature, light, or airflow inside a space. In adaptive architecture, these envelopes use sensors and simple motors to open, close, or shift panels based on weather or how many people are inside. Some designs use materials that react to sunlight or humidity, so the building can stay comfortable without much energy. Dynamic envelopes can be programmed to change at certain times of day, making buildings more efficient and helping people inside feel better throughout the day.
