Duofu Shanhe Riviera Model Room

Duofu Shanhe Riviera Model Room

Duofu Shanhe Riviera Model Room is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully demonstrates contemporary residential aesthetics and functional sophistication, completed in July 2021 in Ningde, Fujian, China. This distinguished project, designed by Menghua Sheng and Lingxun Dong, showcases a harmonious blend of restrained elegance and practical living spaces through its thoughtful spatial arrangement and material selection. The design philosophy emphasizes the integration of natural light within the living areas, creating a peaceful atmosphere that softens the quiet spaces. The ground floor features an open-concept layout where the living room seamlessly connects with the kitchen, fostering emotional communication and artistic ambiance. The master bedroom incorporates warm wooden elements that evoke a sense of tranquility, while carefully selected accessories and lighting fixtures contribute to the space's artistic character. The second floor demonstrates particular innovation in its children's spaces, with the girl's room featuring an oxidized red accent against calm wood veneer, while the boy's room embraces a fencing theme symbolizing decisiveness and wisdom. The study area is characterized by its sophisticated use of light, which filters through elegant gauze curtains, creating a fluid ambiance perfect for reading and receiving guests. This exceptional project, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a significant achievement in residential interior design, successfully creating a timeless living space that balances contemporary aesthetics with practical comfort.
