Dreams Come True Residential Space

Dreams Come True Residential Space

Dreams Come True Residential Space is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated modern living through thoughtful spatial planning and innovative design solutions. Located in New Taipei City, this approximately 370-square-foot residence masterfully integrates open-plan concepts with carefully delineated functional zones through the strategic use of see-through compartments and buffer spaces. The design philosophy centers on creating a harmonious living environment that reflects the globally-traveled homeowners' desire for a welcoming sanctuary. The space features a sophisticated color palette combining bright camel tones with rich accents of purple, royal blue, tan, and dark green, each shade carefully selected to symbolize distinct spatial characters and family members' personalities. Notable design elements include an elevated couch area that doubles as a traditional Japanese tea room, custom wood functional hardware, and innovative solutions for managing structural challenges such as exposed beams through creative lighting and ceiling design. The project, completed in 2017, showcases exceptional material selection including sustainable wood decorations, iron ware, tawny glass, and High Pressure Laminate with imitation stone finishes, all chosen to ensure both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative design solutions. The project's success lies in its ability to balance aesthetic sophistication with practical living requirements, creating a space that serves as both a personal retreat and a functional living environment.
