Dreamer Residential Space

Dreamer Residential Space

Dreamer Residential Space is an innovative residential interior design project that masterfully blends traditional Oriental Feng-Shui philosophy with contemporary Western design aesthetics, completed in Taipei City in 2018. Designed by Chang Pai-Mo, this approximately 580-square-foot interior space exemplifies a sophisticated approach to modern living through its unique spatial organization and material selection. The design's distinctive features include segmented flooring that creates an ethereal walking experience, connecting the upper hall with the lower parking area through geometric patterns that enhance spatial perception. A notable architectural element is the arc-shaped wall in the hallway, finished with gold-painted cut boards, symbolically representing the belly of Maitreya Buddha while creating a harmonious flow throughout the space. The project showcases exceptional attention to detail in its kitchen design, featuring marbled flooring, white walls, and reflective metal surfaces that create a light, graceful atmosphere. The living area demonstrates a refined balance between comfort and luxury, employing neutral color palettes and high-end furnishings to achieve a majestic yet welcoming ambiance. A particularly innovative aspect of the design is the specialized parking space, which incorporates racing-inspired color schemes of yellow, orange, and black, alongside wooden-patterned bricks to create a sophisticated automotive showcase area. The project's successful integration of diverse design elements and philosophical concepts earned it the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its contribution to innovative residential design.
