DREAM DAIRY FARM RESTAURANT Restaurant is an innovative architectural interior design project that masterfully integrates contemporary design elements with rustic farm aesthetics, completed in August 2014 in Chiba, Tokyo. The 96-square-meter space represents a sophisticated interpretation of the forest-to-table dining concept, featuring a distinctive three-dimensional white lattice structure that creates a captivating canopy effect above the existing wooden beams. This architectural intervention establishes a harmonious dialogue between traditional and modern elements, effectively symbolizing the temporal layers of the space. The restaurant's design philosophy centers on showcasing fresh, farm-produced dairy products within an atmosphere that reflects the natural vitality of its surroundings. The ceiling's intricate composition incorporates glossy translucent resin boards that create dynamic lighting effects, producing an ever-changing interplay of light and shadow throughout the dining area. Special attention was given to material selection, combining timber elements with specially painted surfaces that echo the texture of farm soil, creating an intimate dining atmosphere. The design features thoughtful details such as pendant lights arranged to evoke falling drops of milk, while wooden accents and carefully treated columns suggest the presence of living trees. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial innovation through its 7150mm width, 13500mm length, and 5000mm height dimensions, creating an immersive dining environment that celebrates both agricultural heritage and contemporary design sensibilities.
