Dragon Year Gift Packaging is an innovative tea packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary design aesthetics, specifically created for Pu'er tea from China's Yunnan region. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, masterfully incorporates the symbolic significance of the dragon in Chinese mythology while paying homage to the geographical and cultural heritage of Pu'er tea production. The packaging's distinctive feature lies in its utilization of handmade paper crafted by local ethnic minorities, demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability and cultural preservation. The design employs a sophisticated dual-aesthetic approach, combining restrained exterior graphics with dynamic interior ink illustrations, creating a visual metaphor that mirrors the tea's complex drinking experience. Measuring 200mm x 200mm x 4mm, the packaging showcases an innovative combination of traditional calligraphy, hand-drawn illustrations, and modern computer-generated graphics to create a unique dragon symbol.
