Draco Ceiling lamp is an innovative lighting fixture that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of artistic inspiration and mathematical precision in contemporary lighting design. Created by Turkish designer Harun Ayaydın, this ceiling-mounted luminaire draws its aesthetic inspiration from the dramatic layering and curved forms found in vampire costumes, transforming these elements into a sophisticated architectural lighting solution. The design's most distinctive feature is its meticulous adherence to the golden ratio, which governs all its proportions, creating a visually balanced composition with a total height of 400mm and diameter of 160mm. The lamp's construction demonstrates exceptional material versatility, incorporating three different outer shell materials that can be interchanged according to preference, connected via thin wires and suspended by electrical cables. A white Plexiglas light-transmitting band, measuring 370mm in height and 20mm in width, creates an elegant illuminated stripe that enhances the lamp's visual appeal while providing functional lighting.
