Double Cove Penthouse Apartment

Double Cove Penthouse Apartment

Double Cove Penthouse Apartment is a luxurious residential interior design project completed in 2020, showcasing an innovative blend of coastal lifestyle aesthetics with sophisticated urban amenities. Located in Wu Kai Ha, Hong Kong, this approximately 2,800-square-foot penthouse features a distinctive design approach that emphasizes curvaceous architectural elements and thoughtful material selection. The interior space is characterized by its dramatic curved ceilings that echo oceanic waves, creating dynamic light and shadow effects throughout the living areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows maximize natural illumination while establishing a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces, offering panoramic views of Starfish Bay. The design incorporates an elegant material palette combining metallic finishes, stone surfaces, and patterned upholstery, while extensive timber grille work in the bedroom areas filters sunlight and frames the surrounding verdant scenery. The master bedroom employs understated neutral tones complemented by premium materials including leather and stainless steel, featuring distinctive globe-shaped lighting fixtures that enhance the space's tranquil atmosphere. A notable feature is the 1,000-square-foot sea view platform with an integrated swimming pool, exemplifying the project's commitment to luxury living. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to both aesthetic and functional details, including innovative solutions for children's safety in bedroom areas and the integration of a dedicated tea room for social gatherings. The project's success lies in its harmonious fusion of Chinese vernacular architectural elements with contemporary design sensibilities, creating a sophisticated living environment that balances luxury with comfort.
