Divine Big Light Pot

Divine Big Light Pot

Divine Big light pot is an innovative illuminated planter design that revolutionizes the traditional concept of decorative outdoor lighting and plant displays. Created by Finnish architect and designer Ari Korolainen, this unique lighting fixture consists of a bottomless pot structure crafted from durable opal plastic, specifically engineered to encircle existing trees rather than serving as a conventional planter. Available in various dimensions ranging from 70 to 180 centimeters in height, the design incorporates LED lighting at its base, creating a striking illumination effect that enhances both the vessel and the encompassed tree while providing ambient lighting to the surrounding area. The design's distinctive feature lies in its adaptable construction, utilizing rapid-lock mechanisms to secure the pot's segments around living trees, making it particularly effective for landscape lighting applications near waterfronts or in garden settings. The versatility of the Divine Big light pot extends to both indoor and outdoor applications, with the capability to be mounted as a half-pot against walls or used as a standalone lighting feature. This innovative design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, demonstrates exceptional consideration for practical installation and maintenance while delivering a sophisticated solution for architectural lighting that transforms ordinary trees into dramatic nighttime focal points.
