Diamond Heart Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of functional workspace design with symbolic architectural elements, created by renowned designer Chu-Hsin Tsai. This 660-square-meter office space, completed in 2016, represents a groundbreaking approach to modern media facility design, incorporating multifunctional areas that serve both administrative and production purposes. The design's conceptual foundation draws inspiration from the diamond (vájra in Sanskrit), symbolizing unwavering determination and resilience. The space features distinctive diamond-cut inspired geometric patterns throughout its architecture, manifesting in both structural elements and decorative motifs. The interior layout demonstrates exceptional versatility, with corridors, conference rooms, and lobby areas engineered to transform into professional video production studios, eliminating the need for dedicated recording spaces. Notable design elements include a sophisticated entrance featuring a news story wall, diamond-cut totems, and a symbolic stainless steel net installation complemented by a newspaper-integrated map. The office incorporates advanced soundproofing technology in its conference rooms, equipped with green screens for video production. The design's lighting scheme employs a seven-color spectrum combined with blue glass elements, creating an atmosphere that reflects both professionalism and creativity. This innovative approach to office design, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully addresses the evolving needs of modern media operations while maintaining strong aesthetic and symbolic elements that represent organizational values and cultural significance.
