DHL Red And Yellow Office

DHL Red and Yellow Office is an award-winning interior design project completed in 2021, encompassing 7,000 square meters of office space in the Shoam industrial area near Ben Gurion airport in Israel. Designed by Hadar Frank Kadmon, this innovative workspace draws inspiration from Neoplasticism, a theory formulated by Mondrian, incorporating right angles, vertical lines, and primary colors throughout its composition. The design scheme masterfully integrates the iconic red and yellow corporate colors into various architectural elements, creating a cohesive and dynamic environment. The workspace features distinctive elements such as black metal right-angle structures combined with yellow PET boxes and white boards in the main partition, while black aluminum fencing mixed with red-colored wood carved panels adorns the edges. The project addresses acoustic challenges through strategic use of PET panels across workspaces, simultaneously serving as branded wall cladding that reinforces corporate identity. Notable design features include phone booths conceived as red and yellow boxes, thoughtfully placed coffee stations, and working areas that reflect the brand's aesthetic while promoting team collaboration. Despite being executed during the challenging period of COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitated remote planning and coordination via digital platforms, the project successfully creates a well-being-focused environment that unifies various departments through consistent design language. The project's excellence in interior space design was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2022, acknowledging its innovative approach to corporate interior design and successful integration of brand identity with functional workspace requirements.
